Design and Construction Process Meetings

Join 21st Century School Buildings representatives to hear the latest on construction on the new Calvin M. Rodwell Elementary/Middle School Building—what has happened, what is happening, and what to expect next. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.

Join the 21st Century School Buildings Program and Grimm + Parker for a presentation on the building design and floorplans for the new Harford Heights building. This meeting consists of next steps following the concept design review.  

The design of the building will occur over four phases: Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Final Drawings.

NOTE: Additional meetings, focused on construction planning, will be geared towards those who live near the construction zone.

Walter P. Carter Building: a school for Lois T. Murray, Guilford, and Walter P. Carter students

The In-School Design meeting provides an opportunity to observe the work of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape designers, and others as they plan and make decisions about how the new school building will look and function on the inside and the outside. Attendees are encouraged to comment and ask questions as the design team uses illustrations and drawings to share its ideas for creating the building design, its interiors, and the landscape.
