The City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland are committed to including state certified minority- and women-owned businesses as contract partners supporting the 21st Century School Buildings Program.
Our goal is to maximize the use of Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT)-certified local companies as vital partners, to the greatest extent possible.
To help achieve this, a Minority- and Women-Owned Business Outreach and Inclusion Plan—an important part of the Memorandum of Understanding governing the project—is currently under development by the Mayor’s Office of Minority and Women-Owned Business Development, the Maryland Stadium Authority and a sub-group including state, local and regional minority advocacy partners.
